I've just started getting more and more interested about beauty products and stuff

To be honest, I've been procrastinating about making my beauty post
(cause photoshop)
but I really wanna share about my favourite things for this week! (and more)
so here I am
I'm gonna do a short review about a book and  2 movies

The Silver Linings Playbook

9/10. Would recommend if you don't mind cursing. Took me about 2-3 weeks to finish because I was so caught up with other stuff.
This book is so nice okay. First off let's talk about the style of writing. I am no professional critic of books, so I'm gonna describe and review this book my own way. The book is written in the perspective of the main character, Pat. It's like he is directly conversing with you and telling you word by word basis of his life after he left 'the bad place'. You could see the train of thought in his mind, you could see how through his perspective, he overcame stuff and how he interacted with people around him. I especially loved the chapter where the writer wrote in a montage style (I hope this is not considered a spoiler for you). I liked how there were unexpected plots here and there in the book, and how the story turned out in the end. I daresay I didn't quite expect that, but hey that's the good part of this book!
I watched the movie of this book right after finishing the book. Bad choice. I was expecting so much from the movie, that it came to me as a big disappointment when I finished the movie. It definitely felt like the writers of the movie changed too much from the book. It feels as if the writers like the story and idea behind the book, but want the story to go in their own way. So they tweaked it, changed it, repackaged it and sold it out. SMH. This movie was a disappointment, but Jennifer Lawrence's performance in it was good!

Ruby Sparks
9/10. Definitely recommending it if you want a lighthearted watch. This probably is one of my favourite movies. Watched it twice. 
This movie has such a refreshing plot to it! I might be a little bias since it is a disney film, but truly, I really liked the story line and the way the movie is directed to bring out the story plot's messages. When I read the wiki of this movie, I was surprised to know that the female lead of this movie is actually the writer of the movie! Talk about talent. And no shocker to know that the couple onscreen is actually a real couple offscreen! (cues audience awww-ing)

The Bling Ring
7/10. The story is a little boring, but that is actually the point of the whole movie so.. only watched once
To speak the truth, I only started watching this movie because of Emma Watson. This movie has an unconventional way of expressing and featuring the details of the story, and that's probably the part where I go "what is this? what?? why are you showing it like that??" I guess I'm not artistic/knowledgeable enough to understand the techniques used in this film. Emma Watson acted really nicely in this film, and for a moment I really forgot that Emma was just acting, and she isn't like who she is in the movie, in real life. A* for acting skills! The story plot is actually interesting, even more so when you know it is based on real events that happened!

Yupps! That is it actually. 
That took me lesser time for me to type than my usual posts O-O 
hmmm weird
Anyways, just a quick update on my life right now
I'm still working in the Disney shop. 
I'm getting more and more used to working, and feeling less sore on my limbs day by day
success!
Apart from working, I've been going out
there isn't a day in these few weeks that I've properly stayed at home to chillax
but that's alright. After this month, I can relax a little and wait for school to start
I'm getting my results later
I do hope to at least get As and Bs! No lesser than that!

I've already photoshopped some photos
I'm slowly learning how to make it look nicer with the help of google and tumblr
please give me more time?

such a nice weird dream

I know I've said that the next post will be a beauty post
but I really want to document this experience before I've forgotten how it felt like
Okay so,
I dreamt about a nice experience yesterday
I dreamt about my Mr Right

Before I continue, this is a disclaimer: I have absolutely no idea who this guy is
I don't remember his identity, I don't remember his face
things I do remember about him:
1. his voice - such a warm and fuzzy voice
2. his hug and his hand - warm hugs, big hands that holds awkwardly on mine
3. his height - his chin was able to rest comfortably on my head
4. his melody - he serenaded me, and oh my gosh how beautiful he sounded
5. his dress sense - smart casual
6. his music taste - exactly like mine
I know this is a dream, and it is probably based on my far-fetched thinking
but oh how I wish such perfect person exist
When I mention 'perfect', I mean perfect for me, and not perfect human being
[side note: Idk when I've mentioned this, but there was this one dream where I dreamt of my "brother" who loved me so much so much and I felt so loved in the dream that I didn't want to wake up. I had this exact feeling of this dream]

What happened in the dream:
I can't remember much of the dream anymore
but here's the details on what I can remember
In this dream, Mr Right and I was text buddies
as in, he is my friend's friend, and we have never met before, but somehow we were constantly texting each other
meaning to say, it felt like I've known him forever

so in the situation of the dream, somehow I was engaged to this Mr Right, even though we've never met before, and I've never saw his face or anything
we were supposed to go to ROM together, but there was the YouTube Sensations Concert (YSC) before we had to met and get registered for marriage
so I was at the YSC, and during the concert I fell down
and someone picked me up (guess who it was. no prizes if you have guessed correctly)
it felt so surreal, like literally I can still feel the sensation of his hands reaching for me to help me up.
then I looked up at him, and he smiled, and we talked about how the YSC is such an awesome concert
then after the concert we said bye (sobs) and I ran to ROM to get engaged (cause YSC ended late so obviously I was late for my engagement ceremony)

when I got there, I looked around for my groom-to-be
and that's when I saw him panting and looking around
then we both realised that we were actually the person we were looking for [did I even make any sense here?]
then we sat down in front of the ministry person to sign our documents
then cause we've just met each other officially, it was so awkward,
so then my friend shouted from the audience seats behind us "why haven't both of you kiss!"
because it was so awkward, we didn't kiss
instead we held hands instead
after the ceremony, everybody left us to have our own time to get to know each other
(and I swear that I remember that he is so attractive and ohmygosh why can't I remember who he is?!)
we suddenly got to the beach,
then his arms were wrapped around my shoulders cause the sea breeze was chilling (see what I did there)
then we hugged

then my mother woke me up to tell me to wash the laundry ._.
thanks mum~
but I swear to you that was what I dreamt
weird dream
but incredibly nice dream
for the entire day I kept thinking about this dream
and tried to remember at least one hint that could possibly tell me the identity of that Mr Right
ugh I can't remember!

[side note: I don't know if this is 6th sense or what, but I have this weird fact about me: I get dejavu on a daily basis (usually), and most dejavus are because i've dreamt of that exact scene and situation before. No joke. So I really hope this is the type of dream that will become a reality for me to dejavu about. I have no idea if you understood what I meant but oh well moving on]

after a day of thinking about the dream,
I suddenly feel so desperate and insecure
what will happen if I will never find my Mr Right?
will I die of loneliness?
...
okay that's enough for the day

each of us have our own flaws
and I truly believe that our meant-to-be-other-half is meant for us because he/she will complement our flaws just as we will complement his/her flaws

September Please Be Nice?

First of all, I'm sorry for the lack of updates!
To my defence, I was so so tired and/or lazy! (okay that isn't a good reason meh)
Okay quick recap of what I did since I've last posted.

1. I've went to Habitudes workshop organised by my school's youth development department (something like that ok)
I gotta say, Habitudes wasn't as boring as I've had imagined. 
There were so many activities, and our trainer was amusingly funny
I've actually learnt something in the workshop!
Something brief about D-I-S-C behaviour types
I can't actually say I've learnt anything about leadership in that workshop so.. yea

2. I've went to TCP CAMP 2013 CAMP 1
Oh my freaking gosh it is one of the best camps ever!
I can't leak out anything, but I swear to the earth that i've learnt so much so much!
you may not know this, but I don't usually cry during camps and stuff 
but during this camp, I've been crying every single day. 
That shows a lot about this camp yo!
during this camp, one thing I've learnt the most is:
a small seed can grow into a tree and bear an infinite amount of fruit, depending on how much care and love you invest in that tree.
Equivalent, a small dream can grow into a wild dream, if you put your heart and soul into it. 
Atlas & Atlantic was a dream, still is a dream, and I want it to be a reality!
During the camp, I've heard this song, and it had such an impact on me,
I cried when I heard this song

3. I've started work
Okay so here's the part where it gets boring
If you didn't know (which I think you don't, I don't remember posting)
I am now working in Nex, the MCKY Unlimited shop (aka the disney shop)
it was a dream come true, getting this job cause
comeon, it's disney (bold underline italic for emphasis)
but somehow
working in that shop wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be
even though there are loads of kids in and out of the shop daily,
it has become so boring to smile at the customers and go "Hi Welcome Do you need some help?"
ohwell, just for one month and i'm done!
(maybe)

(it might take quite some time cause I need to photoshop a few pictures)
So..
Tomorrow is a work day,
I'll be going running with Belo tomorrow morning
I think I'm running a fever right now
(the last time I've checked I was at 37.4 degrees celsius opps)
